Big fan of little jackets!
Jackets in summer? Am I crazy?! Yes, but not about this. Regardless of where you live and how hot it gets I believe in layering. I can’t speak for everyone, but even when its sweltering outside, I end up being cold everywhere I go… the movies, dinner, the grocery store. Why freeze when you can layer (appropriately of course.) You don’t want to look like there is a blizzard outside, but there are many seasonally appropriate jackets that will take the chill off and help you look chic at the same time.
Everyone could use a cute little jean jacket. This you could wear spring or fall. Just please don’t wear a blue jean jacket with the same blue denim bottoms. If you tend to wear a lot of blue pants, skirts, etc., go for a white jean jacket or a pop of color. Roll the sleeves up for a casually cool look.
There are a lot of super cute knit and military options. Everything from sporty to chic. Just make sure you stay away from fabrics that are too heavy or too dark. Think light and airy.
Linen Jackets are the epitome of light and airy. Check out some great looks that aren’t your mother’s linen. Another rule of thumb… Stay away from lined jackets. It isn’t winter after all.
